SRF provided ADA-compliance review for a preliminary design concept developed by the City of Minnetonka. The design included parking layout, concrete walk and curb reconstruction, and bituminous reconstruction for an existing park-and-ride facility. The goal of the project was to remove barriers to accessibility within the facility, which were identified by a Metro Transit self-evaluation. SRF’s responsibilities included:
- Application of ADA standards to the City’s design
- Evaluation of the plan’s feasibility
- Identification of barriers to accessibility
- Recommendation of additional ADA-related improvements
- Construction staking of the final design
