The CTH SN Reconstruction project is a transformative effort to enhance roadway safety, accessibility, and long-term sustainability in Wisconsin. SRF partnered with local agencies to reconstruct approximately three miles of roadway, addressing aging infrastructure and improving connectivity for local residents and businesses.
Key elements of the project included the installation of modern roundabouts, updated intersections, and improved drainage systems to mitigate flooding risks and increase safety. The design incorporated complete streets principles, ensuring that pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles could safely share the corridor.
Significant focus was placed on stormwater management, with SRF designing and implementing innovative water treatment features, such as bioretention basins and improved drainage systems, to minimize environmental impacts and protect water quality in surrounding areas.
The project also required extensive collaboration with community stakeholders and regulatory agencies to align design and construction with both community needs and environmental standards. Proactive engagement ensured transparency and minimized disruptions during the reconstruction process.
SRF’s expertise in roadway design and environmental planning played a vital role in delivering a safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable transportation corridor that meets the region’s growing demands.
