Brian Gaber, PE

Brian is SRF’s Senior Director of Emerging Technologies and serves a key role in advancing SRF’s Tech Revolution initiative, fostering collaboration between Emerging Technologies and GIS, and building research and innovation partnerships. As the Emerging Technologies team leader, he draws on his public-sector background to help SRF clients modernize how they plan, design, and manage transportation systems.

Brian has more than 25 years of transportation systems, engineering, and data science leadership experience. Before joining SRF, he served as Director of the Office of Asset and Performance Management at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), where he founded the Office of Asset and Performance Management and WisDOT’s first Data Science Unit. Under Brian’s leadership, WisDOT delivered its first machine learning and advanced analytics applications for asset management, safety, traffic operations, and bicycle and pedestrian performance-based planning efforts.
