Jeff Knudson brings his senior traffic expertise to SRF’s Wisconsin team.

Jeff is well established in the Wisconsin transportation industry. Since 1998, he has provided technical leadership on projects throughout Wisconsin, including corridor management studies for the WisDOT NC and SW Regions, environmental documents for the NC, SW, and SE Regions, and scores of additional design, planning, and traffic engineering projects for WisDOT and municipalities alike.

Jeff’s leadership abilities complement the diverse skills of our staff. He provides big-picture thinking, guiding project delivery toward a meaningful and successful outcome, while lending the detailed technical expertise needed to ensure engineering details are sound and justifiable.  Jeff’s skills and experience lie primarily in corridor preservation and needs assessment, the NEPA process, intersection and signal design, safety analysis and mitigation, and public involvement.

Jacob Asplund joins SRF, expanding our in-house modeling capabilities.

A skilled traffic modeler, Jacob joins SRF’s Wisconsin team from North Central Texas Council of Governments, where he specialized in complex traffic analysis.  His current work focuses on travel demand model development and applications, using Cube, TransCAD, and other forecasting platforms.

Applying dual degrees in computer science and transportation engineering, Jacob provides critical  support in environmental document preparation, major freeway operations, transit/rail planning, long-range plan development, and context sensitive design studies. Through his use of sophisticated software programs, Jacob delivers innovative solutions in a straight forward manner, helping clients make important decisions to ensure current and future system needs are met.
