SRF Welcomes Aleksandra Tadic, Principal – Transit Planning & Design Division

SRF Consulting Group has hired Aleksandra Tadic, A. AIA, APA, CCM, LEED GA as a Principal within its Transit Planning and Design Division. In her new role, Aleks will collaborate with experts across SRF’s Transit Practice to deliver integrated planning and design services to clients across the country and to broaden the firm’s presence in the Chicago area.

Aleks has focused her career on creating urban places for people to use and enjoy, including design, planning, and architectural preservation. “As a designer, I love contributing to projects that make immediate differences and lasting impacts in the experiences of people and their lives,” said Aleks. 

Her diverse portfolio includes transit-oriented developments, master plans, architecture, and infrastructure projects across the U.S. and internationally. She brings 22 years of experience managing complex transit and transportation projects with a solid understanding of the Chicago market, including projects with the Chicago Department of Transportation, Chicago Transit Authority, RTA, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Illinois Tollway. Recognized for her ability to build teams and create long-lasting relationships with clients, Aleks is passionate to help grow and mentor rising professionals and provide exceptional service to solve her client’s challenges. 

Aleks earned her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Belgrade in Belgrade, Serbia. She is an Assoc. AIA, United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Green Associate, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), a member of the American Planning Association (APA), WTS International, and serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Transit Committee. 

Aleks enjoys traveling, exploring cities and their architecture, and learning about different cultures in her spare time.
