SRF Announces Todd Polum as New Chief Executive Officer

SRF is pleased to announce that President Todd Polum has been appointed chief executive officer of the firm, as part of SRF’s leadership succession plan. Long-time CEO Dave Montebello will retire from his full-time role, while retaining his position as chairman of the board. This change comes at a new and exciting time for public infrastructure and community investments throughout the US, where SRF provides a multi-disciplinary approach that combines planning, engineering, landscape architecture, and project delivery.

Todd has been with SRF since 2001 and has been part of SRF’s management team since 2016. He was appointed president in 2019 and has assumed additional responsibilities in this role over the past two years.

Todd has actively engaged with clients and communities, collaboratively seeking forward-thinking, consensus-driven, and people-focused solutions to projects.

I am honored to work with such a talented team where we are driven by our desire to succeed and our passion to build thriving communities that enhance the way of life for all.”

– Todd Polum, PE, President & CEO

Throughout his 39-year career, spanning time at MnDOT and Wright County before joining SRF, Dave has worked in all areas of transportation. He has also been active with industry organizations including MCHEA, ACEC, and the University of Minnesota Center of Transportation Studies.

Dave guided SRF through a broader expansion into transit and other multi-modal solutions and oversaw development of firm capabilities in cutting-edge technologies.

“I remain committed to SRF’s continued success as we help our clients address their critical infrastructure needs. Our commitment to our employees and our clients is unchanged.”

– Dave Montebello, PE, Chairman of the Board
