Northwest Greenway Trail

SRF worked with the City of Plymouth to develop the Northwest Greenway Trail system within a greenway corridor that has been set aside from development. As the northwest section of Plymouth develops, the developing Northwest Greenway Trail will connect with neighborhoods, parks, schools and other trails in a comprehensive trail system providing an off-road recreation alternative for city residents.

Since 2014, more than two miles of the trail system has been constructed including boardwalks and bridges, rest stops, and local trail connections. SRF had designed the trail segments, boardwalks and bridges that extend the newly developed system through old agricultural fields and remnant Big Woods landscapes. Over the next several years, the Northwest Greenway will continue to develop into an invaluable amenity that preserves natural resources and wildlife habitat, and meets the recreational needs of current and future residents of Plymouth for many years to come.
