David Filipiak, PE

David leads the Water Resources Group at SRF, providing leadership and guidance with 30+ years of experience for all things water. The group focuses on developing environmentally friendly solutions for complex engineering and ecological challenges. David excels at developing innovative stormwater treatment solutions for both linear and site projects. All of these projects involve complex permitting requirements, which are obtained through early coordination with the regulatory agencies.

David has served on numerous research committees funded by the Local Road Research Board (LRRB) and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), as well as other research projects on stormwater. He is currently serving on an advisory committee studying effective impervious area with the University of Minnesota funded through the LRRB.
