Jody Martinson recognized at “Honoring Women Who Move Transportation” celebration

Jody Martinson was recognized by the Conference of Minority Public Transportation Officials (COMTO) as one of four women in Minnesota “Who Move Transportation.”

Sam O’Connell, Vice President of the COMTO Minnesota Chapter, presents Jody Martinson with the 2023 Women Who Move Transportation award.

Jody has been a leader in the transportation industry for nearly three decades since starting her career at MnDOT in 1994. Since the beginning of her career, she has brought passion and energy to her work by inspiring those around her to focus on what’s most important – improving the quality of life for all. At the heart of her numerous accomplishments in transportation safety, mobility, and accessibility, people have always been her highest priority.

I feel very humbled and honored to share this recognition with such ambitious people who focus their time and energy on promoting and fostering equity in transportation. It is rewarding to be able to help open doors and clear a path forward for others, as so many have done for us.

Jody Martinson, Chief Operating Officer

Congratulations Jody and thank you for your dedication to representing and advancing SRF’s values inside and outside the company.

As an organization that was founded as “The Voice of Equity in Transportation,” COMTO’s vision “is to ensure full access for minorities in transportation while preparing and positioning leaders for rapidly evolving global opportunities.” The COMTO Minnesota Chapter was established last year.
