Our “Living Our Values — Every Project, Every Decision, Every Day” initiative is off to a fantastic start, and we’re thrilled to share stories of how our incredible staff are bringing our core values of Integrity, Solutions and Community to life!
For this first installment, we’re shining a spotlight on SRF Public Engagement Team members Jono Cowgill and Mikaela Ziegler, who shared a wonderful example of how they try to live up to SRF’s value of “Integrity” on a day-to-day basis.
For an important Climate Legacy Roundtable meeting with the City of Minneapolis, Jono and Mikaela chose a sustainable and community-focused way to travel. They biked from our SRF Minneapolis office directly to the event at the Downtown Library, carrying all their necessary materials with them in their panniers. They even brought a camera to capture their journey (see the video below)!
As Jono explained, “We are committed to using all parts of our community infrastructure at SRF, particularly when they align with the values of the work we are doing.”
