What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I take great pride in seeing a design transform from sketch to visualizations, to documents, and finally constructed.
What types of projects interest you the most?
I am most interested in the projects that have the potential to influence sustainable urban development, mobility, and placemaking. For the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the Blue Line LRT Extension project where much of my effort has been focused on the supporting network of roads, sidewalks, trails, and streetscape around station areas. Our team of landscape architects has contributed their expertise in urban design to developing station plans that go beyond the rails envisioning a better connected and revitalized public realm.
What are your favorite hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy traveling, photography, fly fishing, coaching, hockey, golf, and walking my dog.
If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
I would like to visit the northern European cities and countryside.
