COMTO Recognizes Mona Elabbady as One of 2025’s Women Who Move Transportation

Congratulations to Senior Vice President Mona Elabbady, who was honored as one of Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) Minnesota’s 2025 Women Who Move Transportation. Mona’s dedication to advancing multimodal transportation is an inspiration to aspiring industry leaders and those who interact with her every day.

In her role as Senior Vice President, Mona is committed to growing SRF as an organization through staff investment, geographic diversity, and securing work in new markets. Technically rooted in transit, she has tripled the size of SRF’s transit team and has contributed her expertise to nearly every major transit project in the Twin Cities as well as several bus rapid transit (BRT) projects across the United States.

Mona is also very active with SRF’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, Women’s Forum, and mentorship initiative. In addition to COMTO, an organization focused on providing full access for minorities in the transportation industry, she is an active member with WTS.

SRF celebrates this outstanding accomplishment and her commitment to making a positive impact in our communities! Kudos to you Mona!
