Iconic infrastructure and great places are the manifestation of creative design processes documented in visual quality plans and design guidelines. These documents identify how built environments, such as streetscapes and bridges, can establish a place’s unique character and identity, and help realize community aspirations. SRF is skilled at engaging key project stakeholders regarding important community attributes and crafting a shared community vision that can be expressed through the built environment.  As part of the visual quality and design guidelines process, SRF’s landscape architects develop project visualizations that are instrumental in communicating design concepts and establishing support for the overall design. Numerous successful implemented projects have resulted from the design concepts included in SRF-developed visual quality plans and design guidelines.
