What project are you the proudest of, or has been your favorite?
The project I am most proud of is Lake Vermilion State Park.  Collaborating with DNR staff on development of the campground and associated facilities was a great experience.  Site topography and geology posed challenges throughout planning and construction, but provide an exceptional experience for park users.  This project is a great asset to the region and the state.

What is the first concert you ever attended?
The first concert I attended was Huey Lewis and the News at the North Dakota State Fair, circa 1986.

How do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, and reading.  Summers are spent at a baseball diamond watching my son.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the spaces we design being constructed and ultimately used and enjoyed by the public.  With my focus on parks and athletic fields, it has been particularly fulfilling to watch my own kids enjoy facilities that I’ve been a part of developing.
