We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our growing and innovative transit design team.  In this role you would help lead and manage the civil design portion of transit projects of all types and sizes including, but not limited to, conceptual transit alternative studies, preliminary design to support environmental documentation and final design plans including multi-modal connections. We will also offer the choice of basing out of either of our two Minneapolis – St. Paul metropolitan area offices for this role.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

  • Client relationships – develop, manage and maintain client relationships
  • Marketing – identify and actively pursue project opportunities resulting in securing work
  • Project Management – effectively manage multi-disciplinary project teams for a wide range of transit projects
  • Staff Supervision – provide for staff growth through nurturing staff in a respectful, collaborative approach that promotes individual professional growth and positive team spirit
  • Group growth – assist the group leadership in developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the market including short and long-term action plans and financial goals

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude in organizational, technical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated capabilities in supervisory and team building skills
  • Minimum 10 years of transportation project experience with desire to work on transit projects; prior transit project experience is a plus
