SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is a fast-growing, locally-owned, and well-established transportation planning, engineering and design firm. We are seeking an intern for the planning, design and deployment of intelligent transportation systems.
We are looking for a motivated individual that is looking for the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in planning, design, integration, testing, training, construction oversight and field troubleshooting of intelligent transportation systems. You will be applying these skills in one or more of the following areas: communication systems, traveler information systems, traffic detection systems, traffic surveillance systems, connected vehicles, and automated vehicles.
SRF would consider part-time employment starting as soon as possible (minimum of eight hours per week / four hours per day) continuing part-time through the school year until full-time employment as an intern during summer 2019. Work schedule should be during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Progressing toward a BS in an applicable field of engineering (civil, electrical, computer science, etc.)
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Microstation and/or AutoCAD are a plus
• Must return to school to complete degree
